(WINN): Opposition Leader Dr. Denzil Douglas is ordered to leave Parliament after a heated exchange with Speaker Michael Perkins erupts when Dr. Douglas responds to the government’s announcement that it had moved to the court to have him barred from Parliament.

Last November, Attorney General Vincent Byron charged that Dr Douglas possessed a diplomatic passport of another country and promised legal action.

At Tuesday’s  sitting of the National Assembly, Mr. Byron announced that on Monday, January 22, the government filed a fixed date claim form for the Court to rule on the matter.

This is a developing story and details will be updated as more information becomes available.
