Bakesha Francis-James, one of the potential Candidates for St. George Primary brought the food fair to her elders in St. George on Independence Day to those that weren’t able to attend the National Independence Foodfair🙏🏾
Her team went out to meet the elders and provided them with lunches and dinner. This is a part of her collective outreach program which she plans to continue throughout the year. A heartfelt thank you to the team who made this a great success.

Can’t we do charity work without displaying the people we help? Not everyone needs to know who you fed as the story becomes more about the giver than the receiver. I get that it’s good for PR but it’s bad for the individuals who you are trying to help.
We sure can. Thanks for sharing this feedback, however, in the political arena and other aspects of life, it’s important that residents see the work that the individual is doing. Lots more charitable work happens without being publicized.
Publicizing who is were fed is not the focus here. The focus is the outreach work that the potential candidate is doing.
Hmmmmmm! If she wasn’t a political hopeful she would not have seen the need for a plate of food?
So she feeds them today and tomorrow hunger cuts their intestines!!! Why feed them for a day rather than gibe them a lifeline?
I have not heard her advocate for better pay. I have not heard her advocate for lower taxes. I have not heard her call for a reduction in the price of fuel at the pump. I have not heard her call for the five jobs held held by “Two Locks” to be shared with others so that the standard of living for one or two could be bettered.
I heard it said that the way to a man’s heard is through his mouth and stomach. I did t realise that the way to gain a man’s vote is also the same.
How could a sensible person living in this guava crop time and facing the reality of real hard time want to support this grabberment and come to the suffering people for a vote to continue the suffering!!!????? A vote for anyone associated with ALP is a vote for continued cronyism. Is a vote for continued nepotism. Is a vote for continued hardship. Worse of all is the fact that the main beneficiaries of that vote will be those left UPP and went where the money is. Looks who is sorrounding the leader!!
Mary-Clare is being kicked out of the Senate. She is a die hard laborite. Samantha Marshall is being kicked out again. She us from the foundation of labor. Two Locks is already in. He is a turn coat. Winston Willians, Gregory Athill, Chenill Imhoff, Lamington Newton, Dr Mansoor, Namba Adams, Dawn Chaia and Devon Joseph are all turn coats kicking true laborites to tge curb. Gaston could conformably form a purple party and leave the laborites out dry and hard. When will laborites learn????????
