Antigua and Barbuda Residents can buy fresh, locally grown produce at the SouthWest Farmers Market on Wednesday.

Now in its fourth year, the market features farmers and agro-processors from Jennings to Old Road. Following its success, the Agriculture Division now hosts the event on the last Wednesday of each month.

Agriculture District Officer Oneicia Anthony said the market helps farmers reach customers directly. “Whatever we sell is produced within the district,” she explained.

The market opens at 6:00 BST at Jennings Primary School Road and runs until the produce is sold out. For more information, call 720-9628 or 775-6101.
