1. I look forward to a more balanced retort from the UPP in due course, to counteract the ABLP’S continuous delving into the past when this government has been in charge of the country for over 11 years now. Fact!

   Surely there must be some sort of “cut off” point as to when Gaston Browne and his cabinet accept their own responsibilities in the dire state of the economy, the high costs of living and the rising crime wave that Antiguans are currently experiencing. Fact!

12. Was also intersting to learn that plm also ran up arrears. Anyway it was good to hear the director state that the current admin has taken steps to put social secirity on firm footing

13. ALP from 1970’s – 2003 $366M UPP from 2004 – 2013 $550M (HOW!?!?) ABLP from 2014 – Present $130M and will be payed off fully real soon. This Gaston Brown led administration has never added anything to that debt…

    Almost 6 years of the time the UPP were in power, America and the Caribbean was in a global recession, even the great America was giving out stimulus checks and loans to stabilize its system.

    It’s not a total excuse, but you must admit that it was the worse time financially for any government in the Caribbean.

    When America sneeze, we get it here in the Caribbean. So to equate that UPP term to the Gatson Browne term, is disingenuous.

    If you understand finances, you would be fair in your assessment. Gatson Browne rule over Antigua in the most lucative time in Antiguan’s history. Investments were flying off the board in the Caribbean after the greatest recession in America’s history around 2014 to now. Billions were coming in, money was being made left right and center(even Gatson Browne got rich)
    So to sit here and think that this government did a good job with all that revenue, is hypocritical, and in fact they should be ashamed of themselves that Antiguan is this far behind today, given the kind of money that came into the island by investors.

    So go back and do an honest research, because that seems to be your short comings.

    Can you at least get your facts right as from when the ABL was in power. A simple google search would have told you that the PLM was in power from 1971 through 1976. Is it that you guys just do not give a damn to spread fake and untruth all the time.
