ALL SAINTS WEST, Antigua — Anthony Smith, the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party’s (ABLP) political hopeful for All Saints West, has vowed to stay connected and accessible to the people he seeks to represent.

Speaking at a town hall meeting Tuesday night, Smith reaffirmed his commitment to community engagement, saying he intends to maintain close ties with residents through regular interaction and outreach initiatives.

Smith, who recently resigned from the United Progressive Party (UPP), said his decision to join the ABLP followed careful consideration of how best to serve his constituents and contribute to national progress.

The town hall attracted residents and supporters who raised questions about healthcare, crime prevention, and food security.

  1. I believe you will continue to be a great representative and we have confidence in your ability to influence young people

  2. I believe that you’ll be a great inconvenience to the constituents of All Saints West. The voting public have lost all confidence in you since your desertion of them; and yes, you will influence the young by them emanating how to be disloyal to those who trusted you. Not a good look.

See what I did there @Apex Jones 😉

  3. It would be a good look for U Smith. But confidence gone out the window. It’s good to see that U r now aligning urself with the ALP but not sure that’s the Good fit now U choose to do so. Ppl are not just gonna forgive that easily my Brother.
