The Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre (SLBMC) will hold its annual Multidisciplinary Cancer Symposium on Saturday, 4 October 2025, at the Sandals Grande Resort & Spa.
The one-day forum will feature leading regional and international specialists in oncology, surgery and nutrition, who will share the latest research and treatment strategies.
Organisers say the event underscores SLBMC’s commitment to improving cancer care in Antigua and Barbuda and across the Caribbean.
Aimed at doctors, nurses, medical students and other health professionals, the symposium will also welcome members of the public with an interest in advancing patient outcomes.
Sessions will highlight new therapies, patient-centred approaches and the value of multidisciplinary teams in cancer treatment.
