The Sir Lester Bird Medical Center (SLBMC) hosted its 4th annual Breast Cancer Symposium at Sandals Grande Antigua, bringing attention to the most common cancer in the nation—breast cancer.
The event, held in observance of Breast Cancer Month, also addressed prostate and gynecological cancers, focusing on advancing education in oncology.
SLBMC Medical Director, Dr. Albert Duncan, expressed pride in the hospital’s progress, noting partnerships for screenings and fundraising efforts.
The symposium attracted medical professionals from across the country, with Governor General Sir Rodney Williams in attendance.
