SLBMC Celebrates Orderlies with Special Awards Ceremony
The Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre (SLBMC) has concluded its Thank an Orderly Day celebrations with a heartfelt ceremony recognising the vital contributions of its orderlies.
At the event, each orderly was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation, alongside special awards for leadership, mentorship, longest-serving orderly, helping hands (voted by peers), and the coveted Orderly of the Year 2024.
A highlight of the evening was the recognition of one team member who has served the hospital with dedication for an impressive 35 years.
Guest speaker Senator Hon. Michael Joseph commended the orderlies for their commitment and compassion, describing them as an essential part of patient care at SLBMC.
The hospital is encouraging the public to join in the celebration by sharing messages of congratulations and personal stories of how orderlies have made a difference in their lives.
