The male employee of St Joseph’s Academy who was robbed and shot with a flare gun on Sunday evening has been treated at hospital and discharged.
The crime was perpetrated by two masked men about 6:13pm.
The school employee was robbed of an Alcatel cellular phone valued at XCD$500.00 and XCD$120.00 in cash.
One of the men opened fire with the flare gun, resulting in injuries to the victim’s left ear.
Surveillance video of the incident shows the robbers running from the scene after the shooting.
The victim was treated at hospital and discharged.
Law enforcers are asking anyone with information which could assist the police in their investigation, to call the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or Crimestoppers at 800-8477.
