Several Persons in Police Custody For Questioning

Several persons were taken into police custody for questioning concerning ongoing investigations into reports of Robbery, Larceny, and Unlawful Possession of Cannabis.
Over the weekend, the police executed more than a dozen search warrants at various properties across the island and seized portions of cannabis, several pieces of camouflage clothing, mobile phones, solar panel batteries, vehicle license plates, and other items suspected of being stolen.
A 28-year-old man from Grays Farm was charged with unlawful possession of 214 grams of cannabis and possession of cannabis with intent to transfer.
He was found with the substance on Parliament Street on Friday, and was arrested.

  2. It’s good to see the police taking action to address these serious crimes in our communities. Let’s hope that the ongoing investigations bring about more positive results and lead to justice for all involved!

  3. So when will the public be able to come and retrieve their stuff? I would like to know. I lost a cellphone and I am certain someone stole it.

  4. @no nonsense woman: I know you might be anxious to see big results but sometimes these small results lead to much bigger things.

Let us appreciate what the officers have done and once they keep their activity high, it will help to keep the crime rates down. I am sure persons have even gotten deported from some of these activities.

We have to also give credit to the Prime Minister for getting the various agencies together to fight crime – not perfect yet but we are now seeing a lot of improvements.
