Senate President congratulates Senator Massiah on new leadership role

Senate President Alincia Williams-Grant has congratulated Senator David Massiah on his recent appointment as Leader of the Opposition Bench in the Senate.

Addressing members at the start of Tuesday’s session, Williams-Grant expressed confidence in Massiah’s abilities to lead with “wisdom and foresight.”

“Congratulations, sir. I know you will bring the wisdom and foresight of your experience to the leadership that is demanding of you,” she said.

The Senate President also welcomed two new senators, Lamin Newton and Pearl Quinn-Williams, offering them brief but pointed advice.

“I only have one word for you—know your standing orders, and you will do fine,” she said.

  1. This GERIATRIC DAVID MASSIAH is taking up space that upp promised to give to the YOUTH. 25% YOUTH SENATE APPOINTMENT they said

  2. No UPP candidate in the senate was deemed fit to be Minority Leader. Not one of them, who wants voters to put them in Cabinet, was seen by UPP to be competent enough for the position.

Another admission of failure and incompetence by the UPP and Pringle Puppet.

    When will it end?
