  1. It’s a set up to make it look like Antiguan are failure and let their conscience look clean, they already have their white buyer, turner might be fronting for his commission, there is no financial institution or backing for such venture, it will need legislation for a moratorium on such loans, just as how the government legislates tax break for white investors to catch their footing, the banks aren’t localized and the credit unions are not too liquid, so they will need assistance from government to loan these projects by tax breaks to reduce interest rate and waiting period for loan pay back, the government will have to inject certain amount of cash in escrow at the bank to generate investment for the people, it’s all a lie by turner and just a feel good political talk they know they not committed too, do you thing these greedy politicians is going to allow you to have a leg up on them? Everything is so secretive here and the lawyers benifit, the alien land license for foreign white people to get these lands you can imagine these politicians law firm making monies on that, there will be no incentive for them if they allow the Antiguans to invest and young people at that, I am no political phenetic but a man like hon Baldwin spencer with his honesty would a give black local people those beach front lands as he has done in the pass, I never know of the sharkish ALP doing such thing as passing power to the common man ,only to themselves and Caucasian people, so stop fool the people Mr Turner and ALP

  2. Turner nor everybody born with a golden spoon in their mouth like you. Banks hardly want to give loans to grown men and woman with jobs fearless for youths. The Land was made available for people like you and gaston Browne the third and children with parents that can help them. Not for poor youths like ahwi.

  3. Gaston and his cronies will grab up all. We’re young supposed to get money to purchase and invest in this? chupz!!

  4. Not too long ago I watched a video about an African entrepreneur who started a huge modern housing project with no money. He was an architect so he drew some plans for the houses (but plans can also be found on the internet). Then, he went to a land owner and made a deal to start using the land if he could pay a certain percentage as a deposit (which he didn’t have yet). He then advertised his housing project plans to customers and told them they could get one if they paid a certain percent deposit. Many people were interested. He then went to the bank and worked out an arrangement that they would fund customers who qualified and needed some financial assistance. Then, he obtained deposits from customers and used some of that to deposit on the land and the rest to start building the houses. Once a house was complete the customer had to pay the rest of the money. So, he was able to move on to constructing other houses. The bank was happy to have loan customers. The land owner was happy to sell at a profit. And, the architect who started with no money became a millionaire. The point is if you operate like a professional, people will do business with you. I wish some local entrepreneurs would start housing projects priced for local people. But, anyway if you want to build a B&B etc. maybe team up with friends, try to get a contractor interested in working with you, get a plan drawn up (you can get ideas online and ask the contractor for help), perhaps give your business a name, get it registered if necessary, do the math to determine what costs and prices would get you a profit, write a business plan (there are templates online), then take all your documents and plans to a bank. They might be willing to work with you if you come with a team and have clear plans that can succeed. If not, seek out other investors (local people with money who might be willing to help build in exchange for a percentage of the profits). I’m not a business expert, but I believe anyone can start a business if they have the motivation and time.
