Sentaor Shaquan O’Neil made a donation to SLBMC. In a brief presentation, the vibrant Senator made a commitment to continuing his assistance to supporting our hospital and our community. The donation included hygiene and cleaning items as well as screens to be utilized for public education and training needs hospital wide.
The Honourable Minister of Health, Wellness, The Environment and Civic Affairs, Michael Joseph, expressed his gratitude for this donation and applauded the efforts of Senator O’Neil.
As the hospital continues to enhance its services and focus on improving patient care and experiences, our Medical Director expressed her enthusiasm with this donation and stressed the importance of corporate and community support.

Shaquille O’Neil is a young man.
In fact he is the youngest senator in parliament.
To the best of my knowledge he is not from a millionaire family.
His father is a police officer who drives the prime minister.
So when I say that he is not from a wealthy family everyone in Antigua understands. .
So, can someone tell me where he has gotten so much money that he can be making presentation to the SLBMC.
The items do cost a little fortune.
My question stands.
Is it governmen issue being used as political pawn to boost the image of the youngster?.
Why would giverment make its contributing to the medical facility political?
Some answers are needed.
Let us not forget that there is an integrity in public office act.
The young senator has to file his return with the Integrity Cimmission.
We certainly need answers on the source of his wealth.
