Senator Lamin Newton has extended his support to students of the Irene B. Williams Secondary School, assisting them in purchasing uniforms for their upcoming Schools Panorama competition.
In a statement, Newton said he was “called upon to assist” and responded “without hesitation,” describing the gesture as part of his continued commitment to youth development.
“I continue to demonstrate my commitment and dedication to our youth in this country,” he said. “We must always be willing to assist our youth, inspire them, and provide the necessary guidance required to make them model citizens.”
The senator also wished the students success in the competition and invoked “God’s continued guidance” over their efforts.
Schools across Antigua and Barbuda are preparing for the annual Panorama event, which showcases the talents of young steelpan musicians from various educational institutions.
