  1. that is all good and well. I hope there is fiscal responsibility and transparency when it comes to tax payer dollars funding these scholarships because I’m seeing people graduate with scholarships that I know can afford their education. Don’t leave the poor man behind

  2. Congratulations Senator Newton!! Well Done Sir

Harold Lovell and UPP put him in an embarrassing situation some years ago
Gaston and ABLP motivated and elevated him

  3. I bet Veronica can ask him three questions from the discipline he got second class honors and he will need more than a moment to gather his thoughts.

  4. Any upliftment of a black man academically is blessing to our ancestors whom the slave masters purposely kept dumb for control purposes.
These black politicians doesn’t make any impact no matter how academic they are, they are treated like children of a lesser god, told what to do , infantilized and emasculated as though still slaves according to these Caucasian ethno supremacists ideology, they are summoned to the USA as little children and put on a bus and told to sign documents that took these large countries took years to put together, but these marionette politicians must just sign, they are just elected for performative politics among their people, just dealers instead a leaders.
And the politicians feels great been featured on the television doing these things that no other ethnicity be it indians or syrians are subjected to, only the black skin politicians and people are treated this way, the other day there was a complain from a white south African and president ramaphosa had to make his way to the white house as a child to explain himself amid heckling, black people are even give a god to worship unlike any other race.
The education we attain are external, we become like a coco white inside and brown outside, so we do things like white colonials masters as though power devolved from them, taking the resources lands and give to white monopoly capital domination, like in Barbuda with buffer zone too which is a John crow ideology.
As the late Tim Hector just say we have reverse the educational achievement from been external to internal so it can benefit our people. A consciousness will come over lammin to further see through Gaston exploit of our ancestors lands and resources.
I know education teaches you to respect power, but who has the power? Certainly not ALP or Gaston, it’s the 1 percenters, syrians, Chinese and Caucasian even though we proclaimed independence, 80% of the black population still live in slave like condition, never getting the chance to enjoy their full humanity, the infrastructure is not there to make it possible unless they travel abroad before they die.

  5. Congrats Mr.Newton, growth is always important. Now crown it with humility and you will get a decent person.
