Seatons Man Remanded After Firearm Seized in Early Morning Police Raid

Police arrested a 39-year-old man following a dawn operation in Seatons that uncovered a firearm.

Jamall Prince appeared in court charged with unlawful possession of a 9mm Smith & Wesson pistol and 15 rounds of ammunition.

Officers pursued Prince after he fled a property during the raid at 3:40am on Tuesday, June 17. The weapon was recovered at the scene.

His lawyer successfully requested an adjournment, with the case set to resume on Monday.

  1. Sick & tired of hearing these youngsters are caught with illegal fire arms. An amnesty was given for whole month yet they choose not to surrender the guns. Why then should the law have mercy on them? LOCK THEM UP & THROW THE KEY..

  2. As soon as I hear Seatons my mind went on Chantel Crump. We the public have heard nothing about it. Where is the Vincy boat captain. Did you let him go scotch fee ? Did you tell him not to leave the jurisdiction?
    Someone mentioned Sweets and that police need to raid down there as well. That area where the murder of the young man took place is crime infested. Talking when you leave that intersection by the church, you keep on going down towards John Hughes, fig tree drive direction. There is a shop on the right side of the road. That area is drug infested and guns infested. Nuff bad boys operate in that area. The police need to mark these hot spots and surprise them. Growing up that was such a beautiful area to live. Now is criminal activities.
