More than 50 motorists were taken in police custody for breaking the 11 pm to 5 am curfew between Friday night and Saturday morning.
A long line of vehicles was seen moving in tandem as police led them to a station.
During the curfew hours, only essential workers are allowed on the country’s roadways.
The Police continue to appeal to everyone to adhere to the curfew restrictions, the mandatory wearing of face masks and to practice social distancing.
