District Governor Soraya Warner-Gustave has arrived in Antigua for an official visit to local Rotary Clubs and to participate in District RYLA 2025, a youth leadership event taking place later this week.

The Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) conference, which runs from 14 to 16 November, will be held under the theme “Youth in Leadership: Embracing Challenges and Empowering Change.”

Warner-Gustave was welcomed at V.C. Bird International Airport by senior members of the Rotary family, including Assistant Governor Jonah Ormond, Rotary Club of Antigua President Elisa Graham, and Rotary Club of Antigua Sundown President Nicole Stevens.

Also present were District RYLA Chair and Past Assistant Governor Evangeline Allen, Past President and current Vice President Dr Vanetta Rodgers, Youth Services Director Rozanne Emmanuel, Public Image Chair Sherwyn Greenidge, Rotarian Jo-Anne Scotland Gilkes, and Rotaractor Yhan Robert.

The visit marks part of the District Governor’s annual engagement with Rotary Clubs across the region, aimed at strengthening collaboration and promoting service initiatives.

A statement from the Rotary Club of Antigua said members were “excited for an inspiring weekend of leadership, learning, and service,” as young people from across the district prepare to gather for workshops and team-building sessions.
