The Rotary Club of Antigua is a non-profit organization serving the community
through its various programs/projects under the motto ‘Service Above Self’.
The 2022-2023 Rotary International Theme is ‘Imagine Rotary’.
The annual Christmas Party is over 20 years old.
This year, after a two-year hiatus which was due to covid, it was scaled down to 150 children in Antigua.
The schools represented were TN Kirnon, Green Bay, Five Islands, J T Ambrose, Cedar Grove, Bendals, Potters, Pares, Jennings and New Winthorpes.
The children were treated to a day of fun to include face painting, bounce castle, various games and snacks.
Although Santa did not arrive via the usual firetruck this year, the children were all happy to greet him on foot as he made his grand entrance on the grounds of Rotary House.
Each child was presented with a gift from Santa.
Next year the Club plans to revert to its regular parties in Antigua and in Barbuda, catering for 500 students.
A big thank you to our corporate donors, the Government of Antigua and Barbuda, Rotarians, Rotaractors and Interactors!
