Road Upgrade Underway on Jennings Extension Road
Work is continuing on the Jennings Extension Road toward Hermitage Bay as part of ongoing efforts to improve road infrastructure, the Ministry of Works Antigua & Barbuda said.
The project includes upgrades to drainage systems and improvements to the road surface, aimed at enhancing safety and travel conditions for residents and visitors alike. Officials said the works form part of a wider islandwide programme to modernise road networks.
Motorists and residents are being asked to remain patient while construction continues along the route leading to Hermitage Bay.
The ministry reiterated its commitment to delivering safer, more resilient roads across Antigua and Barbuda.

The self enrichment continues- Baba the contractor. Why not the government state of the art concrete plant and new concrete trucks are being used to do this project. Is it to give black Hadee the opportunity to get back in favor with white Hadee over the Vechicle gate scandal fallout.
Magic you are so correct, the opposition leader need to break ties with these corrupt individuals. There are enough bonified contractors around, even in his constituency. In fact Collin Harrigan one of Antigua’s leading contractors lives in Swetes Village. Mr. George Ryan construction company would have given him a state of the art , one stop shop . I don’t even mind if you had used the government housing construction company, they build on private lands, the quality is outstanding and government means All an are we. As opposition leader you are an integral part of government.
Anyhow it’s time for a change. Calling on Harold to challenge for the party leadership during the next party convention. Time to have a viable opposition leader and party.
