Ridge Turner Pleads Guilty to Firearm Offence; Co-Accused Cleared

Ridge Turner of Parham pleaded guilty on Monday to unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition. The 33-year-old appeared before Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel and was remanded until Wednesday for sentencing.

Turner was arrested around 5:30 am on April 26 during a CID Task Force patrol in Grays Farm, where officers found a .32mm pistol and a round of ammunition on him.

In a related case, Turner and two others—Tristan Armstrong of Golden Grove and Kasey Wendrick of Crosbies—had faced charges over a .32mm round found in a vehicle they occupied that same morning. Charges against Armstrong and Wendrick have since been withdrawn.
