RIDGE TURNER AMONG THREE CHARGED WITH UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF FIREARM AND AMMUNITION
St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda — Monday, April 28, 2025
Police have arrested and formally charged 33-year-old Ridge Turner of Parham for Unlawful Possession of one (.32mm) pistol and one (.32mm) round of ammunition.
Around 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 26, officers attached to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) Task Force were on mobile patrol in the Grays Farm area when they observed Turner acting in a suspicious manner. A search was conducted on his person, which resulted in the discovery of the illegal firearm and ammunition. He was arrested and taken into custody.
Meanwhile, in a separate but related incident, Turner was further charged, along with 34-year-old Tristan Armstrong of Golden Grove and 31-year-old Kasey Wendrick of Crosbies, for Unlawful Possession of one (.32mm) round of ammunition. The charge stems from an investigation where officers found the ammunition inside a vehicle occupied by the trio in Grays Farm on the same morning.
All three accused are expected to appear before the Court on Monday to answer to the charges.
The Police Administration continues to encourage members of the public to take advantage of the ongoing National Gun Amnesty and surrender all illegal firearms and ammunition without fear of arrest or prosecution. The amnesty remains an important initiative aimed at enhancing public safety and removing illegal weapons from the streets of Antigua and Barbuda.

Almost forgot there’s an Amnesty going on. Why don’t take in the gun and walk free, than having to face jail time? I mean, later down yall will still get back the gun anyway….
These people are getting to me. For god’s sake there’s a going gun amnesty. Just take in the gun and help make Antigua a better place. Yall holding on to these guns just to round up facing jail time? That’s what yall like to be, jail birds? Chupzzz
It’s disheartening to see young lives entangled in crime.
I hope they have access to proper legal representation.
Another gun charge. Same story, different day.
People acting surprised but illegal firearms have been a problem for years.
Not another promising young man caught up in nonsense!
Is the gun amnesty going on? Doesnt that count ?
What is really going in Antigua ??? smh
This is what happens to people who thinks that they are bigger than the law….
