After more than six years of legal proceedings, Jason Millette and Shalom Bailey, charged with the 2017 murder of Xavier Thomas in a restaurant shooting, will face a retrial on December 4.
The initial trial ended inconclusively, with the jury unable to reach a unanimous verdict, leaving the two defendants in legal limbo.
Their co-defendant, Dorian Marshall, had previously been found guilty and sentenced to 40 years in prison.
In addition to the Xavier Thomas murder charge, Millette and Bailey also face another murder charge related to the killing of Charlesworth Richards Jr.
The prosecution is set to provide further details on the case on October 16.

So we have serial killers just walking loose in a small island like Antigua?
If these are attached to two killings already, you can bet your life they are connected to a few more wherever they came from.
This is where real policing comes in and get these people off the streets.
Make sure proper investigations are conducted so that no loopholes are left for the defense to circumvent.
Too many unresolved murders in this tiny island, too many.
No one has the right to take life except in a self defense situation. And self defense is not because a guy tell you about your mother you go and kill him over that.
