This show will NOT attract the already dwindling numbers who attend the Calypso Competitions. The poor compositions, renditions and even worse, the judging, add a few more nails annually into the Calypso coffin.

I just don’t understand, you go by the title Calypsonian and Soca artist, they gave you a whole year to come up with a tune and this is the best we have going into finals.
Everybody trying to get a quick buck and even though they don’t deserve it one must be paid. If you’re truly serious about the art form how about going out and purchase some tunes.

Writing the names looks unprofessional and tacky.
We need to teach you everything?
