Requirements for Special ID Card for SPN By-Election

— On Monday  16th March 2026, electors in the St. Philip North Constituency who apply to replace their expired Voter’s ID Cardor who have lost their valid Voter’s ID Card will be issued a Special Identification Card (special ID) at the St. Philip North Registration Unit located at the Glanvilles Community Centre.

The Registration Unit will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.to facilitate these applications.

Electors are reminded that they must bring the following:

• A passport-size photograph

Please note that the Special ID document will be retained at the Polling Stations after use. 

For persons who are yet to replace their expired Voter’s ID Card, please note that the process will be similar to the Expired Replacement Card Process. Applicants should come prepared with the following:

• A valid government-issued identification

• Proof of address

• A certified passport-size photograph

ABEC encourages electors who will require this service to visit the Registration Unit during the specified hours to complete the process. -END-

  1. ABEC not only need proof of Address, but how long they’ve resided there as well. Any RECENT moves must be seriously looked into, to stop any Gerrymandering in its tracks.

    Why else would the ABLP offer amnesties for illegal immigrants at voting times?

I tell you about Gaston and ALP , they going to move people from all part of Antigua , sato Domingo and Jamaica to register with that special ID card with special gifts whether financial are what ever to come get it and vote for ALP candidate randy, but randy should show Gaston that he is not going to sell the soul of willikies for power, because he himself will not be respected in the Gaston cabinet since they know they planted him in the constituency, but Gaston and ALP have something coming for them, it will be a black local picky head man in charge after 50 years of plantation style rulership by robin yearwood.

    The Electoral Commission doesn’t give a heck about gerrymandering, it’s ABPL in Power, they are identical twins even closer than batty and poe. Remember they said not a word when Gaston said he transferred people from strong constituencies to weaker ones last General Election and they only won by the skin of their teeth

    Issuing a temporary ID is not a new practice. It is for WHOSOEVER qualifies to use it. Stop trying to make it seem like it’s for only “certain.voters”. It makes you look piss poor dumb and IGNORANT

  7. @facts: look I tired warn Gaston from blogging on this site using different names and he just won’t listen.
    The fact is! If Alex come through for st Phillips north people, it is going to create and independent minded people that break free from robin 50 years plantation style rule.
