Repairs Underway at Corn Alley Following Repeated Water Line Breaks
Work crews from the Ministry of Works were out early on Monday carrying out reinforcement repairs at the top of Corn Alley in St John’s.
According to Works Minister Maria Browne, the site has been excavated several times due to recurring breaks in old water lines. The current works aim to stabilise the area and prevent further disruptions.
Browne expressed appreciation for the ministry’s staff, noting their continued commitment to addressing infrastructure issues across the capital.

The excavator and other track equipment are not in the fuel corruption, since they don’t leave the work sites. Similarly the trucks leave and do private work with government fuel. In several cases they get paid for works while working on Private Job , on top of the fuel.
