Sir Clare commended Burton for taking on the responsibility of advising the government on policing matters, appointing and promoting officers, and ensuring disciplinary standards within the force.

He emphasized that the Commission plays an integral part in maintaining public trust and upholding professionalism in law enforcement.

Burton joins the Commission at a time when the spotlight is on enhancing community policing and maintaining the public’s confidence in law enforcement. His appointment is expected to strengthen the Commission’s efforts in these areas.

  1. Does this guy have a degree in police science, law, sociology, pacyhology, criminal justice or criminology? Does he?

Or he has qualified in ABLP supportation degree? Bachelor’s or master’s degree in ABLP supportation? Will you ignorant Antiguans and Barbudans realize how ignorant you are? That you are not loved or respected or represented at all?

  2. Actually the position he holds, also require him to have knowledge in administrative/regulatory, contract and employment law (being part of the police service commission) with understanding policing (police science, criminology, criminal justice and other social sciences). I just saw his name and waiting for the appropriate degree next to it and I will support it, as long as the appropriate and relevant degree for the position is there.

  3. @my way

Remember Pringle said a degree is not needed to government this country….much less his guy that was appointed to a Board
