Nothing can be done to ease the grief and suffering this individual has caused because of his behavior. A message can be sent out to others by making a final example of this situation. Send the young man to the boys training school for the remainder of his natural born life and let him make PSA every 6 months to encourage other NEVER TO MAKE THIS MISTAKE.

There should be a more severe form of punishment when found guilty in order to deter people from committing such crimes. Young people are dying and being sentenced for crimes to often. God help us.

Has the 16 year old actually been arrested? The body of the story makes no allusion to the headline. It states only that the suspect is in police custody, not that he has been arrested and charged.

3 years in prison then he’s back on the street……’sad thing, now folks do you realize how ignorant some people here behave especially in traffic… some of this ignorance starts at home … let’s be the change we won’t to see in the world and stop blaming only the children….

The suspect is arrested and is in police custody for questioning in connection with the murder. That’s the first step. The police will conduct their investigation and if there is sufficient evidence to substantiate that a case has established, then he will be charge for murder.

This will continue to happen when you have a government who doesn’t take the law abiding citizenry seriously.

When you set a president in the case of a 16 yr old getting only 3 yrs in prison for armed robbery and murder, don’t you think the other youths are listening and taking notes?

Hopefully, they would have learned from the recent case where they implemented a ridiculously low lenient 3 year custodial sentence.

And here is the problem that these fools didn’t realize that they were throwing right in the face of the public.

The 16 yr old that got only 3 yrs, that’s case law, so that means this new case/lawyer will only point to that case and sentence for this 16 yr old, and he will only get 3 yrs as well. That’s the problem with setting that president in that case..every case would have to follow the same route, otherwise if anyone in the same situation and age get more jail time or punishment, it will get overturned on appeal, because it would be considered a double standard and discriminatory.

That’s the problem with case laws, they are set in stone until you repeal the laws, which can take years..by that time, every other juvenile murderer will only be punished by the standard in that first case.

That’s the problem here.
