With the January 14 by-election approaching, Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party candidate Rawdon Turner has unveiled an ambitious 28-page manifesto focused on revitalizing the historic St. Peter constituency.
Central to Turner’s vision is the restoration of key heritage sites, including Parham town, established in 1632, and Betty’s Hope, a 1651 sugar plantation.
He outlined plans to boost tourism, improve infrastructure, and foster economic opportunities, all aimed at restoring the constituency’s cultural and economic significance.
Turner emphasized that preserving the constituency’s legacy is vital for its future, pledging to work with stakeholders to ensure a balanced approach to development that benefits all residents.

Isnt that the same manifesto from when he ran against ASOT? Two years alter how many of these things have been implemented?
Mr. Turner am from the st.peters community and am a unemployed female who is in desperate need of a job please . I’ve been struggling for the pass 3 to 4 years and it’s hard to get a proper job and in the government jobs because without links it seems like you won’t get the help that you want .
That election will not have the turn out as the 2023 election. Hope the ABLP supporters go out to vote.
Is raudon turner copying upp old manifesto on making Pahram a historical restoration town, all the opposition ideas were the future of the country that is utilize by ALP when it comes to office, them being merchant politicians they are busy selling out the country for their pockets and not doing anything for the country.
Werner plan is to cuss the Labour Party government and spew hatred towards them and to threaten the Prime Minister and his family and target them. And as he now claimed, its because of him the government is moving to repair the roads in St. Peters. So were it not for him the roads won’t have been repaired. What w powerful man is this Werner.
So that is his plan for St. Peter. And of course he is already commenting on how Turner is making millions running a government quarry. I guess the jealousy part kicks in. Typical UPP. They just cannot see anyone with their own skin color make money. But when, he Werner had his government security contract at the Port reaping millions, that was OK. And when Pringle earned millions by picking up dead dogs, no eyebrows were raised. Not a drum was geared. Why are they so envious of what others have.
