Mrs Antigua and Barbuda Ranee Laronde Thomas was among the winners circle

Ranee Laronde Thomas, Mrs Antigua & Barbuda, placed 3rd runner-up in the Mrs Globe International Pageant hosted in Shenzhen China Tuesday.

Thomas is the 2012 Queen of Carnival.

Lithuania’s Tatyana Lavrinovich is the new Mrs Globe 2018, while the remainder of the winners circle include: 1st runner up Ukraine; 2nd runner up Hong Kong; 4th runner up Great Britain; Choice of the people West Asia; and Woman of the year Asia.

Thomas competed against 71 other international beauties in Interview, Swimsuit, Evening Gown and National Costume segments.

The internationally-recognised beauty pageant, uniquely for married women, gave Thomas the opportunity to be a cultural ambassador for Antigua and Barbuda. Thomas also used the opportunity to spotlight the destruction of Barbuda by hurricane Irma and garner support for the rebuilding process.

  4. She is a product if Otto’s Comprehensive School! Kudos Ranee! When it is bad publicity, it is smeared all over the tabloids! When it is an achievement, nobody hears it!     • She is married, so she won’t be able to compete in Miss Universe. But I am sure she would do EXCELLENT if she were to.
