PRESS RELEASE

RELEASE DATE: THURSDAY 19TH FEBRUARY

RANDY BALTIMORE RESIGNS FROM THE ANTIGUA & BARBUDA CUSTOMS & EXCISE DIVISION

St. Phillip North, Antigua – It has long been my utmost goal to offer myself to the people of St. Philip’s North not in words alone, but through steady work, genuine presence, and a commitment to serve with integrity and heart. Over time, that call has only grown stronger, and I have come to the point where I must honour it fully.

In that vein, I have had no choice but to make what I consider to be the ultimate sacrifice to serve.

Accordingly, I wish to advise the public that I have resigned from my post as Principal Inspector of Customs within the Antigua & Barbuda Customs & Excise Division, effective from 20th February 2026.

This decision was not made lightly. Customs has been more than a job it has been a meaningful chapter of my life and public service. It shaped me, challenged me, strengthened me, and allowed me to contribute to the development and protection of our nation. I am sincerely grateful for the experiences gained, the training received, and the professional growth that came with the responsibility of the office. However, the time has come for me to step forward in a new way and to dedicate myself fully to serving the people of St. Philip’s North.

I also wish to express heartfelt thanks to the people of St. Philip’s North for the trust you have placed in me as your Caretaker. Your encouragement, your honesty, and your support have meant more than I can adequately express. Together, we have done meaningful work and with that same trust and unity, we are now stepping forward into a bigger role and a deeper level of representation and service.

I extend sincere thanks to the management and staff of the Customs & Excise Division for their support over the years, and for the relationships built during my tenure relationships grounded in teamwork, respect, and shared purpose. I will always carry those lessons and connections with me.

As I step forward into this next chapter, I do so humbly, with deep respect for the journey behind me and hope for what lies ahead. I ask for the prayers, support, and partnership of the people of St. Philip’s North. Together, we can build a stronger, safer, and more prosperous future.

Randy Baltimore

  1. that’s right Randy.

u.nah lie and.scampish like the wikkid WINKKUP pastor SHUGY

LABOUR 4 ST. PHILLIPS NORTH! 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩

  2. He worried, because he well an know that Alex Browne is going to win the St Phillip’s North by-election. You soon hear that after Baltimore lose, he’ll go beg for he customs job back.

Remember Randy, as my grandmother would tell me: “you can’t plant pumpkin 🍅 and reap corn 🌽”

    🤣🤣🤣

  3. This should have happened a long time ago.
From the time he was declared labour party caretaker he should have resigned as a civil servant.
I am sure if the UPP had declared a teacher as its candidate the ALP would have asked for his resignation from day one.
This sums up how evil and corrupt our political system is.
It suits the governing party so its OK.
If it doesn’t suit their cause it wrong.

  4. @ Straight Shooter: You are so correct. He should have been asked to resigned months ago. There is one standard in Antigua Politics, that of the LABOR PARTY.

  5. Ok then, so would he have had knowledge of the vehicle scandal with the car dealerships? Asking for former Prince Andrew even though the king won’t trust him around children no more.
King Charles, Governor Williams we need Scotland Yard on the 2Six8_366, ASAP and tonks!

  6. Something really sweet in dey. It seems like the spin-off from the Customs wheeling and dealing is miniscule to what is available inside of both HOUSES, plus the protection that is afforded, by the ONE-MAN Constitution, to the occupants. He has finally answered the call to Come Raid.

  7. None of these fools stood up and fight for the citizens in any of the past debacles by this administration , and now they are coming forward trying to claim some kind of position in governing the peoples affairs?

    How backward is this?

Nothing in the Alpha case. Nothing in the foolish deal with Air Peace and LIAT.
Nada on the African immigrants nightmare.
    Nothing on the car theft.
Not a word on the serious crime problems in many of these small areas they are trying to be so-called ” care taker” of.

Oh and don’t forget the US visa fallout, not a damn thing, nada!

These people needs to go take a damn rest.

If you stands for nothing, how can you come now trying to represent the public?

This is not a private job you are vying for.. government has to be about the people, not about how rich and powerful you get!

When the bwoi called George came down to customs to collect his friends ill-gotten goods, why didn’t this so-called honest man arrest Dwayne George on the spot?

    “Care taker” my back-foot.
