  6. When I read some of these comments I wonder if these people are related to Mr Lovell, a mean this man has been in politics since I know myself ok! now take a looked at his accomplishment as an MP and his winning record in the political field and what you got?
    After stepping down and stepping out he decides to make a return to a party that is even now more devided than he left it, yet I see people using the words scared, shivering etc. Mr Lovell may be looked at as a strong political mind and he should, (kudos) because of his longevity in politics, but to be scared of someone with a loosing record and who was never a threat in his heyday, returning seems laughable to me.
    As Martin Luther King said “I have a dream” guess Harold had one too, good luck this time around.

    There is so are some people who want Ambassadorship and they can only get the coveted Ambassador position that they dream about if Pringle were to become The PM.

    Neither Lovell or anyone else would make them Ambassador.

    Among the reason why Gaston will be PM for a long time for the selfishness in UPP knows no bounds.
    They are like a ship without a sail or a rudder on the open sea

  8. One big mess. Dave Lester Payne on Observer radio started this foolishness. Dave said he is a constituent of All Saints West and so is Lovell. Yes they both been living in the constituency but none of the two are involved in any aspect of the community life .
    Let’s look at the roads in and leading to All Saints west. Something as simple as this have any of the two being advocating . Look at the clinic in All Saints- no advocacy. The water problem up Montruala – tank built under UPP and never used . Lovell live in Buckley and to date has never operated his mouth to advocate. So all of a sudden he is going to fall in love with “My beloved people of All Saints West “ .
    Anthony Smith on the other hand , he is a traitor and a good for nothing. What I have been saying before and continue to say, that we need people that are community activists . People that are in love with involved in the life and livelihood of the constituency.
    So Harold might get a diehard UPP others , but surely not any swing voters or independent voters.
    Don’t see him improving UPP chances , he might be worsening the chances their chances and causing more confusion in the UPP party.

    Never would have expected one person looking for ambassadorship could hold an entire political party and a country at that matter in ransom; for a hopefully assigned position in Washington.

  12. My questions are:

    1) Why are there no new members joining?
    2) Why are so many leaving?
    3)What is Harold’s intention? When the story first broke weeks ago, he said that he was NOT returning to politics.
    4) Will the UPP have enough time for their caretakers to make any headway before the next election is called?

    Y’all accept that Shugy won, Serpent won and others won on the UPP ticket but you can’t accept that Lovell get blow in he tail?

  14. The coming back of Harol Lovel is a brilliant move. I can see Lovel winning that seat. And for the person who said that the only duly elected leader is Pringle. Where does that fits in , in Lovel contesting the election in that constituency ? One step at a time. He must run and win then in the next convention whatever the people decide will happen. If certain steps are not taken and taken very fast, the UPP will continue to sit on the back bench for a very long time. Lovel coming back is like John the Baptiste return to Baptized the UPP in holy water.
