  1. In Guyana there is no justic so we do what we have to do . The justic system only applied to the rich no justic for the poor

  2. Guyana got a whole community. Waited for hours and then burn down the horrible establishment? That’s the importance placed on that young girls life!

    Whats is Chantel life worth?

  3. Didn’t these two tragedies take place on different islands?
Should we be mixing them together?
Yes, we must demand justice but we also must give the investigators the time and space to carry out their investigations and the legal processes it’s time to work.
In the meantime the legal team must be as open and transparent as is possible with the communities without compromising their case.

  4. All these Burnham people need to be deported before they start rioting and burning down the place. Let them stay in Guyana with that lawlessness.

  5. In Guyana the vigilante justice crew made the situation worse by burning down the hotel and the hotel owner’s house. Lots of crucial evidence gone!

  6. The problem with the vigilantel reaction in Guyana is that the crime scene has been compromised and the evidence has been burnt. So when the investigation cannot find evidence and any charges lack physical or forensic evidence and the case is thrown out, who will be to blame? And what will they do next? Burn down the court house? The people looting were there to loot, steal and take advantage of a sad and terrible situation. And now true justice will suffer.
