Queen of Carnival Kia Kirwan to Represent Antigua and Barbuda at Miss Caribbean Culture Pageant

Less than 24 hours after being crowned Queen of Carnival 2025, Kia Kirwan is preparing to represent Antigua and Barbuda at the Miss Caribbean Culture Queen pageant.

Kirwan will take the regional stage on 4 August in Nevis, where she will compete against contestants from St Lucia, Nevis, Belize, the US Virgin Islands, St Kitts, Guyana, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Turks and Caicos, and Dominica.

The newly crowned Queen of Carnival is no stranger to pageantry. She previously captured the Ms Labour Queen title in 2016 and now sets her sights on adding another crown to her growing list of accolades.

The current Miss Caribbean Culture is Shequana Holder of Guyana. Antigua and Barbuda’s Dominique Trotman secured the first runner-up position at the last edition of the competition.

  1. The opportunity to compete against delegates from across the region is invaluable for personal growth and for promoting our island’s unique brand of Carnival and culture.

  2. Shouldn’t the queen be reigning over all carnival activities. So she won’t be on the streets carnival Monday then
