Public Consultations Set for Workplace Violence and Harassment Bill
Public consultations will be held across Antigua and Barbuda on the proposed Workplace Violence and Harassment (Prevention) Bill 2026, giving residents an opportunity to provide input ahead of the legislation’s finalisation.
The Ministry of Public Safety, Immigration and Labour said the consultations are intended to gather feedback from workers, employers and other stakeholders on a bill that is expected to apply to all workplaces nationwide.
The first consultation is scheduled for January 28 at 5:30 p.m. at the Multipurpose Centre. Additional sessions will take place on February 5 at 5:30 p.m. at the Villa Community Centre, February 11 at 5:30 p.m. at JT Ambrose Primary School, and February 18 at 5:30 p.m. at the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Stadium.

Officials say the sessions will allow members of the public to share views and raise concerns that could help shape the final draft of the legislation.
