A series of public consultations is being held this month as part of efforts to gather feedback on the proposed Workplace Violence and Harassment (Prevention) Bill 2026.

The consultations are aimed at engaging members of the public, employers, employees and other stakeholders on measures intended to prevent violence and harassment in the workplace.

The first session is scheduled for 28 January at the Multipurpose Centre, starting at 5:30 p.m. This will be followed by a consultation at the Villa Community Centre on 5 February, also at 5:30 p.m.

A third meeting will take place on 11 February at JT Ambrose Primary School, before the final consultation on 18 February at the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Stadium. All sessions are expected to begin at 5:30 p.m.

Organisers are encouraging members of the public to participate in the discussions, which are expected to inform the final drafting of the legislation.

Further information on the consultations can be obtained by contacting 1-268-728-0047.
