Former employees of Curtain Bluff Resort continued their protest outside the hotel on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, displaying placards demanding payment of their promised severances.

The protest entered its second day, with workers remaining outside the resort, voicing their frustrations over the delayed severance payments. The individuals, who were laid off by the resort, say they have yet to receive the compensation they are entitled to after their employment was terminated.

The protestors have made it clear that they are determined to see their severance packages paid in full. As of today, there has been no official response from Curtain Bluff Resort regarding the matter.

Local authorities are monitoring the situation, but for now, the protest continues.

  1. You guys should be in front of the main entrance gate instead of on the sand, so that every arrival and departure guest have a glimpse of what’s going on, plus a bit of disruption.
I do hope you guys still have all your paperwork, cause in a lay off situation a whole lot a signature signing should’ve took place. Good luck.
Come on Halfords! you’re better than this.

  2. And none ask again and again. Where is their bargaining agent, the ABWU. Are they nit the union that represents the hotel workers. Yet the want the claim that the prime minister is involved in union busting when he calls them out for not giving proper representation to the workers. Here is your proof. All of you Gaston haters what says you now.
