  1. Economic diversification 101: for revenue augmentation equating to the continued staid retention of economic servitude and the fungus of sun-up-sun-down apartheid enclaves. And the governance just wantonly love’s it to be so, with no technology transfer a thought to ponder when panhandling, and cooing-up to the quasi, foreign investors destiny for the best of what you got: for them to stash for their generational wealth paradigm.

  2. We LOVE pop-up beach bar! One of the reason we chose to live in BH!

Does anyone know if they will move it to another area near by??

Are they going to close it ON 7/31?

  3. Antigua is governed by a real estate mogul who has no development interest whatsoever in anything else but buying and selling property, buying and selling land, and the construction of hotels, housing projects and a $26m palatial mansion.

    All with the people’s money

  4. Jolly harbour will be for the elites and not for the common folks. We’ve been coming here for the last 12 years. It all started with castaways and diving with Jolly Dive. Then came the changes and Jolly Dive rent was increased so Paul closed the shop and work off his boat. Then came the sale of Castaways to be named Bodog then the closing of the Jolly harbour resort. Let’s not forget all these changes had effects on the local vendors and their beach ⛱️⛱️ businesses. I guess I will say how many Billions do you have to have and at what expense to the local Antiguan vibe will it take to just leave it alone. Enjoy your cocktails the Jewel of Jolly harbour is gone and the very locals I called my friend.

    • Totally agree! Castaways back in the day was the first port of call after an 8hr flight…
Feet in the sand and a cold beer…feeling u were in the Caribbean. All these new builds now you could be anywhere…its taking the heart out of the island!

  5. Has anyone seen the ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT as REQUIRED by section 10 of Schedule 3 of the Physical Planning ACT.????
