Propane Gas Cylinders Seized During Police Operations

St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, Wednesday, 18 February 2026

Police have seized several LPG propane gas cylinders and other items of interest during multiple search operations conducted on Monday night.

Officers attached to the Langfords Police Station and the Special Services Unit (SSU), executed a multiple search warrants across several communities, including Skerritt’s Pasture, Cedar Grove, and North Sound Extension.

During the operations, the police seized three (3) 100-pound LPG propane gas cylinders, one (1) 20-pound gas cylinder, one (1) green and white spray can, one (1) Makita power saw, one (1) pair of Nike Air Force sneakers, one (1) black hoodie, fifteen (15) cutting discs, and two (2) gas regulators with hoses at a property in Skerritt’s Pasture.

Several individuals, including a 29-year-old of Skerritt’s Pasture, a 28-year-old of Cedar Grove, a 27-year-old of North Sound Extension, and an 18-year-old of Liberta, are assisting the police with ongoing investigations.
Investigations into the matter remain ongoing.

Meanwhile, the police are appealing to members of the public who may have had LPG propane gas cylinders stolen to contact the Langfords Police Station at 562-5730 or the Parham Police Station at 463-2060.
