People like Trump is undeadable.restin peace Mr galley bay. Your legacy will continue
Today, I lost not just a colleague, but a mentor, a leader, and a dear friend. Alex De Brito was a force in our industry—his passion, his dedication, and his relentless drive to elevate hospitality in Antigua & Barbuda were unmatched. But for me, his impact was even greater.
I had never served on an advocacy board before, yet Alex saw something in me that I hadn’t yet seen in myself. He believed in my leadership, pushed me beyond my comfort zone, and encouraged me to take on the role of Chairman of ABHTA.
Alex was a man who led with heart and conviction. Whether navigating challenges like the COVID-19 crisis or shaping the future of our industry, he was always guided by a deep commitment to people. He fought for recognition of our hotels and tourism industry, for progress, and for the betterment of everyone in hospitality.
His passing is a tremendous loss, but his influence will never fade. I hope to honor his legacy by carrying forward the same dedication he showed every single day.
My deepest condolences to your family.
