Several Prison Officers have walked off the job and are demanding that the authorities do something about the situation inside Her Majesty’s Prison (1735).
Last week it was reported that more than 30 prisoners and three prison officers have tested positive for COVID-19.
The authorities have promised to move the infected prisoners to another location but this has not happened.

With the prison closed to visitors, wouldn’t it have been the same officers who brought COVID there in the first place?
Just asking….. The prison continue to get and receive inmates (against our will and protest ) who are not tested.. therefore officers are not the only outside agents of Covid in the prison…
So please when your going to make bias and information limited statements like that remember that your ignorance is on display for all to see…

@just asking…Does it really matter? Could have been a visitor or a prisoner that’s asymptomatic. The issue is a lack of strategic planning and adequate ppe for the officers. This reflect poor administration on the minister of health and lack of respect for front line workers. Were the workers and prisoners tested or vaccinated? These are the issues to be addressed, not your senseless blame game. 😠
Since the prison have corona it’s a condemned place to be, moving infected prisoners isn’t gonna help one bit cause the place is still unsanitary so we have one bigger issue 🤔.
The prison will be sanitized once the infected inmates are relocated to a safe and sterilized compound. The inmates who are not infected will then have the present prison compound sanitized for their protection also….
There is not any Covid-19 in the Prison.That was communicated to us a few weeks ago.A lady did tell us.The place was over running with Covid-19.She was referred to as a liar by someone from the Prison.So who lying now? I say those in authority are the LIARS.

Alot of people have been rediculed for speaking the truth, anytime someone speak the truth it either for cheap political points or they are mischievous the leaders likes to say. What the leaders will say now the prison officers are trying to let the supervisors look bad? Or those are not the same prisoners that was there they only look like the same ones
