Superintendent of Prison Albert Wade is to receive the Queen’s Police Medal (QPM), the palace announced today.
The award is part of the Queen’s New Year Honours list published annually.
The senior police officer is being honoured “for services to national security and public safety.”
Two other Antiguans and Barbuduans have made the list and will receive the Order of the British Empire.
They are Dr Barbara Jean Paca for services to heritage development and Stephen Joseph for services to business and community development.

Mr. Wade is a good man and is deserving of any accolade, praises or commendation bestowed on him.
Wade need to be the commissioner of police also
It will be very good if that happens, but they’ll never give him that opportunity because he don’t take push around from politicians
