
Prime Minister Gaston Browne extended his encouragement and support to the Antigua and Barbuda National Culinary Team during a courtesy visit ahead of their participation in the Taste of the Caribbean competition, scheduled for June 16–18 in Barbados.
The meeting, described as a moment of honour and inspiration, brought together members of the team and the nation’s leader for an engaging exchange. Prime Minister Browne commended the chefs for their dedication and urged them to represent Antigua and Barbuda with excellence and pride on the regional stage.
Organised under the Antigua and Barbuda Hotels and Tourism Association (ABHTA), the National Culinary Team will compete among the region’s best, showcasing the country’s talent, creativity, and hospitality.
The ABHTA expressed gratitude for the Prime Minister’s motivating words, noting that the encounter has further strengthened the team’s resolve to bring home top honours for Antigua and Barbuda.
