Prime Minister the Hon. Gaston Browne on Friday, through Antigua and Barbuda’s High Commission in London, has sent a message of condolence to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the passing of her husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Phillip, The Duke of Edinburgh.

  1. Thank you Comrade Browne. You did the right thing. Elizabeth II remains the Head of State in this country, and the Governor General is her representative. Thanks for reaching out in this way to our gracious Queen in her time of mourning. Whether we desire to be a constitutional monarchy or not, we are one. Thanks for showing your respect on behalf of the nation.

  3. I am not a fan of that family as a whole .However,the Queen is a gracious person.There are millions of gracious persons in the World.So to refer someone as gracious shows a sign of respect.For instance there are many gracious persons in Antigua and Barbuda.
    GRACIOUS——- COURTEOUS, KIND AND PLEASANT. What is wrong to refer to the Queen as gracious ?
