Potters Resident Darius Williams Remains on the Run

Despite law enforcement’s persistent efforts, Darius Williams, a Potters man who escaped police custody in December 2022, remains at large, evading capture.

His name continues to appear on court dockets, with the prosecution acknowledging his elusiveness as recently as yesterday.

Williams faces allegations of involvement in serious crimes, including breaking and entering, theft, and escaping police custody.

Previously arrested in January 2021 for a break-in, he escaped custody late last year, sparking an ongoing manhunt.

As authorities reschedule his court date for November 9, they urge residents with information on his whereabouts to contact the police, emphasizing the importance of his capture.

  1. In a small island like Antigua, evading capture for so long is almost unheard of. Clearly, he is either being sheltered by others or he has left the jurisdiction. Family members should appeal to him to turn himself in. These things usually don’t end well for the escapee if they continue holding out.
