The General Post Office is closed today as police investigate an early morning break-in. Postmaster Algernon Gomes reported that intruders shattered the main entrance glass, ransacked the ground floor, and forced entry into the accounts room upstairs. Despite the disruption, no valuables were stolen, and the post office is set to reopen on Tuesday.

Are you sure that nothing valubale was stolen?
This post office is always in the news.
I think the real question is what were they in search of?
So many millions spent on education over the years to empower tge masses to effectively government ourselves in the oversight and management of key public services. What a waste of resources! Our human capital seems innately incapable of managing basic operations such as Security, HR effectiveness,, general efficiency and basic delivery of goods and services. If the education budget were to be cut in half, I am convinced that there would be no difference to the sloppy indifference we are experiencing today! Me say so!
And I 100% concur. It is mediocrity at its best, with this crop of leeching lemmings; enchanted by the conniving mantra of the artful self-enrichment scheme, as envisioned by the head of governance. Yet it seems the more things change: the more it remains the same. And they’ll tell you that they like it so. As I cringe! and pity at the thought of the fools: A tear fell from my reddened eyes; as I sigh with empathy, and cry for mercy on the plight of my people in slumbering sleep-forgotten to be awakened; and be wise to the fleeting call for redemption in it’s glorious glee, so that the tortured impressionable mind and body can be free. But nothing of value was stolen: as so the the head honcho says. 😔
Please tell me that when the glass was shattered it triggered an alarm and security along with police was on the scene right away, also with the many security cameras in and out the building along with the cctv cameras in the area, piece a cake. Just saying!
