Port Manager Darwin Telemaque confirmed that the Alfa Nero super yacht embarked on a brief sea trial today, departing from Falmouth Harbour.

The trial aimed to assess the vessel’s maneuverability and preparedness for adverse weather conditions, following recent repairs.

Captain of the yacht conducted the trial under the guidance of the Port’s Chief Pilot.

Mr. Telemaque clarified the situation during a post-cabinet media briefing held on Thursday, addressing questions raised about the sea trial and the yacht’s readiness for challenging weather scenarios.

  1. Now that we know that boat is working, maybe it’s time to move it to St John’s (cruise ship dock, or somewhere around), so us, taxpayers won’t need to pay for dockage, electricity, water, etc…to Yacht Club Marina, and enrich Mr Falcone!

  2. This is why I could never be the head of any government….I WILL NOT BE CLEANING UP ANY POLITICIAN MESS. Too many times I have seen .department’s heads on ABS TV explaining politicians shit. Recalled the Antigua Airways saga, on the media were five department heads trying to explain some politician mess. When them do dem shit, clean it the f%$#k up, don’t call on civil servants to explain your shiiit

  3. After Antigua sailing weeks most yacht high tail it out of here to the Mediterranean.
We are told they have to get across the Atlantic to safe harbour during the hurricane season.
The Dockyard provides limited safety against hurricanes.
Hurricanes don’t come into Falmouth Harbour?
