Police officers attached to the Criminal Investigations Department Task Force (CIDTF) and the Gang and Guns Suppression Unit (GAGSU) conducted a series of targeted operations and executed multiple search warrants across the island on Tuesday, resulting in several arrests and the seizure of a firearm and ammunition.

During the coordinated operations, several individuals were taken into custody on suspicion of Housebreaking and Larceny.

The items were taken to the police station for further investigation. The suspects remain in police custody as investigations continue.

The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda remains resolute in its commitment to disrupting criminal activity, removing illegal firearms from communities, and ensuring the safety and security of all residents.

  1. The police is doing a credible job in my opinion. I would just ask you though to keep your eyes on the hoity toits and the so-called Honorable ones

  2. O wow Paw Patrol doing their actual job??? Why are we impressed by the bare minimum? Its like going into a kitchen and finding a fork and being impressed. When it comes to investigations and solving crimes Paw Patrol is useless. Rounding up the usial suspects and coming to the public saying looka here what we found, tap us on our backs is sooo basic. Not impressed Paw Patrol !!! Taking unlicensed guns off the street should be the norm what about all the crimes them na solve??? Weh Passo and Donna Marie Christian deh and all the others???

  3. Who are they selling these stolen items too?
We need to follow the money. Something is not right. They get charged yes and are back on the streets in a few weeks to months and continue their pattern of behavior.
Who are the market makers for Stolen items. I suspect there are established buyers for a number of these items.

  4. At the same time, multiple arrests highlight an uncomfortable truth: illegal guns are present, and criminal activity continues to test community safety despite ongoing enforcement efforts.

  5. Finally, the police start working. Good job guys. Now please keep it up. Don’t let it stop there though. Find out where the guns are coming from.
