Police in Antigua and Barbuda seized several vehicle registration plates during a search in Clare Hall on Sunday morning.
The operation, conducted around 07:20 local time, also uncovered a Samsung tablet. Both were taken for examination.
A man was arrested on suspicion of robbery and remains in custody at St John’s Police Station.
Police said senior officers have been briefed and the investigation is ongoing.

It is full time for there to be some synergy and teamwork between the police and Transport Board. Traffic police should be able to instantly log into the Transport Board data base and get an instant update on who specific vehicle registration numbers are registered to and to the make and model of the vehicle in question. The authorities must get technology smart if they are to keep up with the bold trends that these thieves uses. We are far too laid back in our use of technological advancement to help us solve crimes. It’s time we get with it.

Damn thief and criminal. Stealing people number plate so they can go and commit crime and just in case they happen to be seen, people will report oh is so and so number plate leading the police to your door. Boy one day all thief have to pay
