St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, Friday, 1 August 2025

The police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the owner of livestock animals that were abandoned during a stop-and-search operation in the Johnson’s Point community.

On Friday morning, officers attached to the Johnson’s Point and Bolans Police Stations were conducting a joint stop-and-search operation in the area.

During the exercise, a vehicle managed to evade the police and, in doing so, left behind two ewe goats. The animals were subsequently secured and are currently being housed at the Johnson’s Point Police Station.

Members of the public with any information that may assist in identifying the owner of the animals or furthering the investigation are asked to contact the Johnson’s Point Police Station at 562-8943 or the Bolans Police Station at 462-1080.

The Police Administration thanks the public for their continued cooperation and support.

  1. So a thief them thief somebody goats and run away from the police. The same way they probably had guns and ammunition and got away . This was poor policing. The police should have two Vechicle some distance off in both directions, when carrying out this type of operations.

  2. The owner must be able to draw a picture sketch description of their goat in order to claim them, may the best artist win.

  3. The fact that the person is a livestock owner might suggest a location or a motive. I hope the police are able to use this information to narrow down their search and find them quickly.

  4. Cook the goats and done. Police officers are too stupid to be in positions of national security. This is so embarassing. How can they even publish this shit, Stuff like that you keep witin the walls of the station. AHSSZZZZZ
